JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for transaction management of all Charter real property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing activities as well as leased and owned property administration. The position will manage strategic relationships with third party real estate brokerage companies and outside legal counsel, with an intense focus on deal quality and consistentcy in process.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Directs and oversees the transactions group and strategic vendors responsible for negotiating the acquisition, disposition and leasing of Real Property company-wide

Proactively identifies strategies to optimize Charter’s real estate portfolio

Effectively performs complex cost and feasibility analyses

Monitors critical lease dates and collaborates with regional and local business leaders

Collaborates with the Vice President of Real Estate & the Portfolio Planning Director to develop and execute Charter’s regional and enterprise-wide real estate solutions

Develops recommendations based upon regional and enterprise-wide real estate knowledge for review by the VP

Maintains regional and enterprise wide market intelligence in order to capitalize on market opportunities as well as to react to time sensitive projects and business initiatives

Manages internal customer relationships to drive win-win requirements

Active business liaison partner for real estate solutions, establishes solid, effective connections within regional and corporate business groups

Responsibilities may include the negotiation and administration of Charter’s cellular and microwave towers and antennae.

Works independently and reports to the Vice President of Real Estate

Performs other duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Working knowledge of NPV and ROI analysis
Demonstrated knowledge of real estate plans, objectives and budgets
Solid, demonstrated knowledge of GAAP lease accounting practices
Business management, relationship management, project management, technical and financial governance
Ability to translate complex data into simple terms
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to utilize key performance indicators/metrics
Ability to analyze and interpret data

Education
Bachelors in Real Estate related field, Business administration or equivalent work experience
