Product Lead in Kansas City, MO     

Responsibilities:  

  • Act as owner/advocate for one or more, moderately complex products (or functionality sets within a product)
  • Manage product to ensure that over time, the needs of its customers are met efficiently and align with overall product direction  
  • Identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches
  • Act as owner/advocate for a portion/portfolio of the customers related to assigned products; develops and enhances customer relationships
  • Serve as an escalation point for assigned customers, handles customer complaints, problems, and issues; managing resolutions, corrective actions, and lessons learned
  • Act as Scrum Master and is responsible for day-to-day work allocation and progress, ensuring requirements are elicited from all stakeholders and managed through the requirements, design, development, and implementation process. As Scrum Master, organizes and facilitates Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and demos, and retrospectives
  • Support the marketing process by providing technical and business process advice related to assigned products and customers. Helps potential customers clarify their requirements, documents the conclusions reached, and contributes to preparing and supporting additional sales activities.   

Required Skills & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year College or university and no less than five years’ related work experience in the essential functions of this position
  • Must have 5 or more years of experience in IT and business/industry with increasing responsibilities and direct interaction with customers and software development team
  • Experience with Project Management processes, Agile Development Methodologies
  • Proficient in use of JIRA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) Required
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff and business stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Strong analytical, data-processing and problem-solving skills

This is a Direct-Hire opportunity with our client in Downtown Kansas City, MO. Due to client requirements, only US Citizens or Green Card Holders are eligible for this position.
