Overview: Abacus Technology is seeking a Site Manager to guide a team providing technical support in multiple skill areas for Fort Rucker. This is a full time position
Major Duties & Responsibilities: Provide direct leadership and oversight to several medium to large size technical support efforts encompassing Logistics, Network Administration, Systems Administration, Cyber Security/Information Assurance, Operations, Telecommunications, and other common support services. Manage the team, monitor team performance, and ensure accomplishment of the NEC Fort Rucker requirements and overall customer satisfaction. Supervise project managers ad task leads. Work with government customer to identify needs or opportunities for improvement, and plan and implement projects with no impact to daily operations. Oversee management administrative activities including interviewing, hiring, timekeeping, evaluations, mentoring, personnel corrective actions. Act as the Abacus representative to the government on all contractual matters.
Qualifications: 10+ years experience in full lifecycle support for IT programs to include budget, schedule, projects, personnel management, and technical briefing development. 10+ years working in a NETCOM NEC environment managing multi-disciplined functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree highly desirable. Must hold the following certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and ITIL v3. Must also possess one or more advanced system or network CE certifications. Experience managing contracts/tasks orders in excess of 50+ FTEs and $15 Million. Must have a strong technical background and be able to remain technically competent and be able to advise and applytechnology theory to customer requirements. Comfortable leading a team in an enterprise-level environment and providing direction and guidance to others. Experience with DoD systems and military protocols preferred. Able to provide clear and concise directions to staff regarding project execution. Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.
