Job Profile

  • Evaluates and oversees the most complex (operations improvement) projects from initial research and assessment through transition to the management team for business performance improvement.
  • Conducts complex business diagnostics to identify, quantify and prioritize value creation projects.
  • Facilitates the most complex projects; teaches, coaches and mentors individuals and teams to build capabilities.
  • Leads efforts to improve the quality and/or minimize process waste.
  • Motivates and works with all levels of the organization to ensure that transition to management is smooth and effective.

Lean Manufacturing -  Subject Matter Expertise

  • Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches to lean manufacturing.



Master Black Belt, preferred

Required Education and Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
