Operations/Cost Analyst, Senior
Lead operations or cost analyses to inform program decisions and management recommendations. Devise modeling and measuring techniques and apply mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, and operational mathematics techniques. Lead statistical, economic, or quantitative analyses for an organization's information, decision, and planning needs. Develop cost or risk analyses and cost models, cost controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting and statistical techniques to evaluate contract and program status, develop cost benefit analysis, conduct analysis of alternatives, develop business cases, and perform other economic analyses while ensuring compliance with government, commercial, and international requirements. Lead briefings to senior leadership. Work in a fast-paced, highly-flexible client and team environment. Leverage excellent oral and written communication expertise.
-5 years of experience with operations and cost analyses
-Experience with analysis and modeling in Microsoft Excel and presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint
-Experience with working on a team in a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment
-Ability to apply analytical and data management expertise
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-Ability to lead engagements and project teams
-BA or BS degree
-Experience with parametric and analogous estimating, data collection and normalization, or model development and method development, including multivariate regression analysis, risk analysis, or cost improvement curve analysis
-Experience with advanced modeling tools, including MATLAB
-Experience with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT)
-Experience with Microsoft Access or other database software
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-MBA or MS degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Statistics, or Finance
-Professional Cost Estimator or Analyst Certification, Business or Data Analysis Certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
