SALARY: $80-100K+ Bonus

General Job Description

The Engineer is responsible for the ongoing technical and process engineering development in the manufacturing operations, along with process engineering initiatives with new equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Applies advanced process knowledge to provide both daily technical direction and support for operations.

Effectively communicates timely decisions based on technical and business reasons to support ongoing production, quality, and customer needs.

Applies structured problem solving analysis and statistical tools to assess and improve product and process capabilities and to resolve product and process issues.

Applies understanding of processing principles to establish process specifications and instructions through the issuance, review, and approval of batch records.

Partners with operations, R&D, and Quality groups to proactively ensure products are manufactured right the first time to meet the business objectives related to quality and cost. Leads process and equipment troubleshooting to ensure business objectives are met.

Serves as process engineering or manufacturing representative on cross-functional teams formed for product qualifications and launches. Identifies equipment needs to support implementation of new processes and products in a manufacturing environment.

Creates and executes strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality through the application of industry best practices. Optimizes processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality through the application of industry and internal best practices.
