  • Operational leadership of the Funding teams
  • Be an internal champion and voice for our Partners and Borrowers, delivering best in class customer service levels
  • Lead and coach the team, providing ongoing feedback, conduct formal performance reviews and support their professional development
  • Timely execution of all team tasks to ensure loans are funded within established service levels
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and lead related projects to execution
  • Identify and develop initiatives & programs to enhance the borrower and partner experience
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for operational projects / enhancements
  • Gather and assess data, establish goals, and measure productivity / quality results
  • Manage escalations from external and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate team scheduling, ensuring staffing level aligns with anticipated loan volumes
  • Ensure documentation of procedural guides and training resources
  • Collaborate with other functional areas across the company to ensure compliance with company processes and alignment with corporate values


  • Minimum of 5years in-depth experience in operational excellence /project management and / or process improvement
  • Proven experience in workflow management, leading teams through change with efficiency gains
  • Background in developing reporting and data analysis
  • 3-5years of experience in Financial Services with a working knowledge of lending documentation, e-docs, and imaging
  • A proven leader with the highest Customer Service standards
  • Knowledge of operational risk, and risk management principles
  • College or university Degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of lending practices and document management
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Desire to collect data to measure and improve document processing accuracy & efficiency
  • Effective communicator and proven ability to handle customer and partner conflicts
  • Ability to measure and balance work load of team members
  • Ability to multitask with limited supervision
  • Experience with scheduling and staffing
