An amazing opportunity has presented itself within our Linkedin Learning Solutions (LLS) sales team. As Manager for our team of LLS Relationship Managers, you will oversee a team who serve as trusted advisors and bring value to our corporate sales business segment. This team is dedicated to making our customers stronger and seeking out opportunities for growth. You will be responsible for building and managing a team of Relationship Managers as well as developing and executing the sales strategy across the market. Although your team of Relationship Managers will possess a strategic approach to selling and strive to meet/exceed revenue goals, they will always have their clients’ best interest in mind and act as their internal advocate to ensure they are set up for success.Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a sales team of relationship managers focused on renewing and expanding existing customer revenue
  • Communicate job expectations with relationship managers by planning, monitoring, and appraising individual sales results
  • Coach, counsel, and develop employees through personal and professional mentorship
  • Accurately forecast recurring revenue pipelines along with incremental bookings
  • Constantly innovate ways to balance sales opportunities, client management, and new customer onboarding responsibilities
  • Devise tactics and strategies to maintain close relationships with Linkedin Learning Solutions' relationships at scale
  • Focus on client success in order to build a talent pipeline and create a pool of customers that will serve as references for sales and marketing purposes
  • Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will serve as the foundation for this growing team
  • Be proactive about solving problems even if it’s outside of your area
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with the product and marketing teams
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of L&D management or applicable e-Learning sales management experience
  • 5+ years of L&D experience or applicable closing sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience with relevant sales methodologies and metrics
  • Experience with SaaS sales, sales hunting and Salesforce.com platform
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and subscription-based business sales models.
