About this Position / Responsibilities

Address the needs of the programs IT Business unit and Call Centers in a timely and professional Manner.  Must maintain an excellent working relationship with the various department heads; must have the ability to communicate how new technology, upgrades, and bug fixes that face the IT business unit and Call Center.  Perform direct and remote hands-on administration on the Avaya phone systems using Communication Manager 6.3, Modular Messaging 5.2, and Call management System R16, Elite Multi Channel 6.3, Rightfax 10.5, System Manager 6.3 with Session manger 6.3, Verint Quality Monitoring V12, and Verint Data analytics V11.  Ability to work with vendors during adversity and work with timelines and project plans ensuring all vested parties issues are addressed timely, accurately, and in a professional manner.  During equipment outages ensure all impacted business units receive timely updates


Positions Duties:

  • Main liaison between call centers and IT department
  • On-site support for the Avaya Phone systems including various adjuncts
  • Administrator and support call center applications i.e. CMS, EMC, RightFax and Verint Quality Monitoring
  • Work with business units to ensure moves, adds, changes and unique request are provided to the business unit and IT Management in a time professional manner
  • Provide input and support for a technology roadmap that address the current and future needs of the business and IT regarding upgrades and implementation of new technology
  • Project Management
  • Change management experience





  • 12 yrs experience with Avaya communications Manger to include legacy Definity version to CM version 6.3.
  • 12 yrs experience with Avaya Communications ACD
  • Expertise with Avaya Communications Call Vectoring
  • 12 yrs experience with Avaya Communications CentreVu CMS release 9-16
  • Expertise with Avaya communications Modular Messaging Voice Mail System Administration
  • Expertise with Avaya Communications Expert Agent Selection (EAS)
  • 12 yrs with Avaya Communications Site Administration 6.0
  • Expertise with Avaya Communications Automatic Route Selection (ARS) and Avaya Automatic Alternative Routing (AAR).
  • 10 yrs experience with Avaya Servers and Gateways (S8300, S8700, S8800, CM3 & CM5, G650, G450, G350. Etc.)
  • Expertise with TCP/IP
  • Expertise with VOIP to include H.323 and SIP
  • Expertise with Vera SMART (eCAS) Call accounting 10.1
  • Expertise with Avaya IP office hardware & Data componets
  • Expertise with Voice and Data Circuits T1.5, ISDN-PRI, DS1, DS3 and SONET
