Support integration, testing and evaluation of potential warfighter applications and systems developed by the DMO-S
Assist in the assembly and installation of DMO-S systems in Bldg 24
Assist with load/configure/test of h/w, s/w, connectivity and proof of concept prior to operations
Assist in establishing a persistent communication capability and conduct necessary testing setup between DMOC-S and end user
Assist in event setup with DMOC-S and distant end clients. Load software onto DMOC-S servers/clients and execution of systems used in demonstration
Support development of new or enhanced space-related software, hardware, and processes
Support the development and implementation of command and control (C2) and operations requirements towards an integrated aerospace C2 approach
Support DMOC-S to gather information, coordinate with key players within and outside of the USAFWC and integrate inputs in support of producing C2 processes and products
Attend air and space C2 process integration meetings in the local area and at otherlocations
Support the development for the overall Modeling and Simulation (M&S) program requirements
Support the integration of data fusion architectures and leverage existing and other all-source data, including evaluating dissemination capabilities
Operate existing and develop future systems capabilities and architectures in support of DMOC-S demonstrations, special event assessments and real world contingency operations.
Identify systems shortfalls that could impair accomplishment of DMOC-S mission objectives.- Provide engineering subject matter expertise in support of space and cyber distributed mission operations
Assist in designing, engineering and developing modeling and simulation tools and systems for use in advanced training, mission rehearsal and exercises for space and cyber warfighters as well as those dependent on the capabilities and effects of space and cyber operations
Obtain EITDR and IATT for M&S systems prior to installation in Bldg 24 IAW DoDI 8500.2 & 8510.01
Assist in data exchange/validation testing across STEN/JTEN
Perform configuration management over remote clients during testing, mission rehearsals and execution exercises
Provide feedback on the configuration, setup, performance, and execution of systems used in exercises.
Assist the engineering team in acquisition of all source design criteria and data required for this program and for obtaining correct and complete data to include technical and test reports, technical orders, engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.
Additional duties as assigned.
Bachelordegree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering or 8 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement
A combination of 8years of technical experience in systems integration and development including:
Security + certification.
2+ years System Administration experience on DoD systems
2+ years software installation and checkout experience
2+ years networking protocols experience
2+ service oriented architectures: SOAP, WSDL, xml, xml schemas (with 3+ .xsd extension)
Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Working knowledge of Eclipse, SOAPUI tools.
Familiarity with J2EE architecture and JBoss is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Experience and knowledge of Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) mission areas and operations
Expertise in Aerospace Operations Center (Falconer AOCs) and 14AF (JSpOC) processes and procedures in order to enable integration of innovative air and space concepts and capabilities into theater operations.
