Komen, and many others to build and execute customer centric business strategies.    Role Purpose As the Director, Global Data Solutions, the focus will be a client facing expert for data solutions focused on Merkle’s DataSource product.  The role will require the individual to have strong organizational and communication skills to collect requirements and strategize solutions based on the needs of the clients.  Key Responsibilities

  • Development of a data solutions for internal and external clients; this includes the researching and providing recommendations on data structure, data variables for append and well as delivery of data for clients
  • Work with the internal client team, analysts and other Merkle Operating Groups to provide the best overall Data solution to meet a client's business objectives
  • Develop effort and pricing estimates for solutions
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts and operations specialists
  • Be hands on with the team by actively building solutions through analytics or coding efforts.
  • Present recommendations to clients within the overall data solution developed
  • Manage internal & external client expectations for deliverables
  • Manage workflow and communications with other team members, both inside and outside the Data Solutions team
  • Keep abreast of the latest news and trends in the industry and providing thought leadership in the form of blogs, articles etc.

OUTCOMES

  • Build and grow a global data solution team that supports the needs of Merkle’s clients. Deliver relevant data recommendations toclient; provide rationale and strategy for data recommendation; negotiate effective data pricing for client and margins for Merkle; effectively manage client engagements; present recommendations to client team/client team; provide back end list level analysis; effectively manage data vendor relationships.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of B2B, B2C and Digital data solutions
  • Knowledge of SAS, Linux, SQL and other programming languages
  • Clear and strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects and clients at one time
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to QC data information, campaign metrics, including pricing
  • Executing on internal client expectations for deliverables
  • Coordinating workflow and communication with other team members, both inside and outside the Data Solutions group
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and modeling and the ability to integrate data and analytics
  • 10+ year experience with data modeling and processinBachelor’s Degree Required; Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related degree preferred

  • Knowledge of data industry, B2B, B2C, Digital and Global
  • A broad and deep understanding of data compilation and source information
  • Building large and complex data and analytical solutions for clients
  • Understanding of the digital and social marketing landscape
  • Experience with real-time data solutions
