The Strategic Planning Manager is a critical role in the development of both long-term and short-term strategy for the Consumer Integrated business and its 4 business units (Replacement Tires, OE Tires – tires sold to car manufacturers, CFNA – our internal credit card, and Bridgestone Retail Operations). In partnership with the Director of Strategy, this role is responsible for the successful coordination of annual strategic planning processes and the inputs necessary for them. Additionally, this role will serve as a key player in the leadership needed to push critical cross-business unit Consumer Tire projects to success and will be accountable to deliver a set of key monthly reports consumed by Senior Leaders and ultimately our corporate headquarters in Japan. As a Strategic Planning Manager, the role will be called upon to be the key subject matter expert for industrial as well as macro-economic trends and will often be involved with evaluation of potential Strategic Partnerships and M&A activity.
