To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will provide leadership, hands-on know-how, and management to deliver stable, and secure IT infrastructure operations and production system support. The role will collaborate closely with the IT Services Director to accelerate the mission of InterVarsity through leading and inspiring the day-to-day business functions of IT. The role will oversee all production support functions including customer service, help desk analysts, data center and cloud-based infrastructure operations, data analysis and reporting, contract compliance, billing administration, and security.

Lead and inspire the IT production support teams including customer service, help desk analysts, data center and cloud-based infrastructure operations, data analysis and reporting, contract compliance, billing administration, and security.
Serve on the Information Technology Services Leadership Team and provide input and direction into the IT Services planning, management, and processes.
Advise leadership on how best to leverage technology to accomplish strategic ministry objectives utilizing business process integration, standardization, IT governance, current technology and security measures.
Recruit, hire, train, develop, supervise, and retain qualified staff.
Oversee budget management; analyze monthly budgetreports to ensure details align with goals.
Develop a team of prayer and financial support. Raise annually an agreed-upon amount of financial support.
Experience managing the following technologies: Workday, Salesforce, Office365, Azure Active Directory, Amazon Web Services, SSO, SQL, CRM, Networks, Firewalls, Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Windows 10 & macOS devices, Storage Area Network, Multiple Internet ISP, and IT management software (ticketing, source control, logging, monitoring).
Familiarity with the application of ITIL concepts in IT Operations – particularly in 24X7 IT user support (ie. Service Desk)
Experience in providing IT Operations leadership during ERP transition projects
Experience managing IT vendors that provide outsourced IT services
Experience with IP-based telephony, and collaboration/communications tools
Experience managing employees and working within a budget
Experience in actively participating in and managing multicultural teams
Working knowledge of current Microsoft software applications (Office365, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, othertechnology related degree
Ten or more years of IT experience leading a high-performance, cross-functional IT Operations team in multiple locations and time zones with a track record of success and increasing responsibility

Flexibility to attend Urbana Student Missions Conference every three years, December 26-January 1, and National Staff Conference every three years, approximately January 8-11
