Duties and Responsibilities
•Leads requirements gathering effort on the epics as needed — consulting with product management, implementations, clients, and other stakeholders.•Prioritizes product requirements in alignment with company strategy and market window•Consolidate data into user stories and necessary product requirements in concert with development team(s)•Attends daily scrum meetings including standups, retrospectives, and demos.•Leads backlog grooming to decompose and estimate stories.•Answer questions from developers and clarifies requirements•Documents the new feature for implementations and release notes.•Writes acceptance criteria. •Demonstrate the latest iterations to customers (pre-release) and gathers feedback.•Establish timelines and product benchmarks•Establish initiatives and align with cross-functional goals•Collaborate scrum team and product leaders to establish timeline workflows and goals•Ensure product aligns with company mission and goals
Requirements and Qualifications
•Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field
•2+ years previous experience as a product owner. May consider business analyst or related field if candidate can demonstrate PO knowledge•Additional 2 years previous experience as a Product Manager •Solid understanding of the product lifecycle•Experience with Cloud and Open Source technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic, Cassandra, Spark …•In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices•Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of software development•Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Accurate and precise attention to detail•Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
