PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive portfolio management; develop product pipeline and roadmap for assigned franchises aligned with SBU strategic objectives
• Manage assigned franchise(s) lifecycle globally; identify gaps and opportunities applicable either globally or regionally (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM) specific as appropriate
• Drive idea and concept development process, market insights & analysis, financial analysis through relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Customer Insights and other activites – Global Voice of the Customer (VOC)
• Lead product gating process for assigned franchise(s) and guide commercial regions through full launch
• Develop global registration strategy in conjunction with commercial region leads and regulatory department
• Develop global content for New Product Introductions (NPIs) including market development, training, education and sales/marketing collateral (publications, brochures, electronic media and marketing communication / education content)
• Develop and / or consult on global product positioning, comercial region pricing and promotional initiatives
• Execute regional launch plans, including multi-channel marketing deliverables
• Lead cross-geographic and cross-functional team(s) to ensure launch success
• Develop and / or or consult on operational initiatives to improve cost, quality, product efficiencies and profitability
• Manage the transfer of NPIs to applicable commercial region product management staff responsible for the day-to-day market management of assigned franchise(s)
• Consult in the development of commercial region tactical plans for assigned franchise(s) full commercializaiton activites
• Drive global strategy and market development activities for assigned franchise(s) in partnership with commercial region partners and execute against Acute Care category marketing plans
• Serve as key point of contact for global organizational communication, commercial regions, R&D, regulatory, operations and senior leadership regarding assigned franchise(s) new product, market development and commercialization activities
• Conduct technology and intellectual property assessments
• Foster relationships with key clinical individuals/organizations within the industry
• Develop and maintain annual operation plan and budget for assigned franchise(s) initiatives
• Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management

• Global Strategic Product Manager may manage 1 or more employees
Requirements: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Four (4) year university degree required
• Advanced degree(s) and certification(s), preferred
• 5+ years of marketing or combination of sales and marketing experience required
• Broad knowledge of Acute Care market, competitive and external environment preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressive product and/or marketing management experience in the medical device industry preferred
• Sensitive to global differences in market needs, care delivery and clincial practice patterns

• Ability to work with colleagues to drive consensus on product portfolio decisions across global geographies and franchises
• Ability to drive focus, prioritization and effective time / project management

• Self-starter, know how to approach the job, passionate about the industry
• Able to work in a lean environment without large infrastructure behind him/her
• Understand global medical regulatory landscape & awareness of geographical differences
• Highly developed business acumen
• Demonstrate practical application of successful marketing / business / portfolio management concepts and methodologies, as well as assessment tools, practices and techniques
• Knowledge of measurement and analysis of commercial effectiveness
• Unquestionable ethics and integrity
• Exhibit skills and knowledge in public speaking, human relations, collaborative leadership and education trends
• Excellent relationship building and collaborative skills

TRAVEL REQUIRED:
• Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
