Research Associate, Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics
The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a Research Associate position in assisting precision medicine research. The position requires a Ph.D. degree or an M.S. with at least 1 years of academic or industrialexperience in Computer Sciences, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Medical Informatics, Statistics, Computational Biology or a related discipline. Hands-on experience in biological databaseconstruction, text mining tool development, literature data curating pipeline development, bioinformatics data analysis and visualization software/tools usage such as R/Bioconductor are required. Experiences on Perl, Java, Python, SAS, sequencing data processing software packages, and MSSQLdatabase are highly desirable. Strong communication skills are also required.
