SmartDrive Systems has an exciting opportunity for a proven Inside Sales Representative with exceptional prospecting skills to immediately contribute to a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate is high-energy, relentless and a proven track record of identifying and qualifying customer prospects through inbound and outbound calls.The Inside Sales Team is responsible for assisting and supporting the Field Sales team by growing the sales funnel through very targeted salescampaigns, event follow-up and converting leads into qualified opportunities. The team prospects into accounts concentrating on lead discovery and converting leads to opportunities with ongoing emphasis on revenue growth and customer interactions.

As an ISR, you are indirectly responsible for revenue growth and development of a geographic territory through research, cold calling, prospecting, generating qualified sales leads and securing appointments with C-level buyers for target accounts. Responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate records within our Salesforce.comdatabase, in respect to corporate sales and marketing initiatives.

While supporting a team of Sales Account Executives within your assigned geography, you are expected to interact with your team on a weekly basis, with emphasis on strategy and direction of growing individual sales pipelines. Your position will have the benefit of exposure to the internal sales process, from initiation of sales leads to conversion of your leads. As an integral member of the sales organization, you will attend all sales meetings, including product and sales training.

This position will have a shared revenue quota with the assigned field sales counterpart as it is a PIVOTAL role in identifying, qualifying, nurturing and even closing opportunities in conjunction with the field sales team, ultimately contributing directly to SmartDrive's business growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing lead pipeline and new opportunities for the field and channelsales team
  • Driving targeted outbound salescampaigns that generate new customer leads and/or nurture existing leads, to include up-sell opportunities within current accounts.
  • Qualifying warm leads that have been generated by Marketing.
  • Providing outbound call pre-show and follow-up to Trade Show and event attendees.
  • Providing product information and recommendations to end users and channel partners.
  • Overcoming objections of prospective customers through focused and appropriate sales strategies
  • Completing account research/mapping, contact discovery on prospects and key accounts
  • Processing quote and contract requests, direct and channel customers
  • Setting up and conducting introductory meetings via webex
  • Working with field sales team to set appointments with qualified prospects
  • Tracking and managing discovery, prospecting and nurture activities in salesforce.com. Update lead and account contact information, maintain e-mail, account information, key contacts and track call activity (including inbound and outbound calls, emails and call reports) on a daily basis.
  • Providing accurate forecasts of lead progress and status.
  • Participating in weekly territory team and pipeline calls
  • Collaborating with team members to develop account specific strategies

Qualifications

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 - 5years inside salesexperience, identifying and qualifying leads in a technology related industry
  • Transportation services experience a huge plus but not a requirement
  • Any exposure to transit authorities is a plus
  • Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding quota
  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong prospecting skills
  • Must be able to uncover opportunities in an aggressive market, identifying and recognizing customer requirements, providing recommendations and solutions
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM system
  • Results oriented focus withproductive approach to sales
  • Strong phone presence and enthusiasm combined with a consultative sales approach; outstanding follow up and attention to detail.
  • Minimum travel includes: tradeshows, trainings and sales meetings
