Responsibilities 

  • Perform month-end close duties, including calculating and recording monthly accrued expenses for SG&A and coordinating with departments to determine that all costs have been included
  • Prepare monthly reports for tracking various corporate projects, validating costs have valid approvals, and explain any large fluctuations over various time periods
  • Assist with review and explanations of fluctuations in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results
  • Prepare and ensure completeness of balance sheet reconciliations inaddition to reporting on fluctuations over various time periods
  • Prepare schedules for quarterly reviews, internal audit team, and annual audit
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies toensure adherence to company guidelines and compliance with therequirements of Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Provide timely accounting assistance to accounting managers and internalbusiness partners; respond to financial questions and/or concerns to meet business needs
  • Create and maintain process documentation for assigned duties

Position Qualifications

 Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance
  • CPA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Five or more years of accounting experience (at least 3 in a position ofSenior Accountant or above)
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS required
  • Proven experience in continuous process improvement
  • Strong proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with varying levels  of management
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experienced in fixed asset accounting is a plus
