Job Description

The Systems Engineer will be expected to design, monitor, and maintain specified Citrix infrastructure components as well as assist with the design, configuration, and installation of new environments.  The Systems Engineer will perform normal system upgrades in areas of XenApp, XenDesktop and NetScaler.  Primary and secondary support roles will be required during and after hours for clinical and business applications.  The Systems Engineer prioritizes tasks appropriately, carrying out assignments with the appropriate level of direction, and completing tasks within deadlines.  In addition, the Systems Engineer provides accurate and up to date system, site, and project documentation in addition to creating and maintaining system reports including uptime/availability, system utilization and growth. 


The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field combined with 1 or more years of applicable experience.  The candidate will have experience with XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, VDI.  Additional skills required are Windows Server 2008 and 2012 support, scripting, troubleshooting, an understanding of basic networking.  The ideal candidate easily adapts to change, remaining stable in stressful situations and works well with customers and other stakeholders while working to become a subject matter expert in one or more areas.
