A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Meeting with customers to understand their business needs and priorities
  • Consulting with customers and teammates to identify the best combination of applications, configurations, and customizations to solve a customer’s request
  • Implementing technology solutions (like configuring sites, building forms and workflows, and refactoring an old application into a solution built with Office 365), coordinating your work with your project teammates
  • Answering questions and serving as a subject matter expert on SharePoint Online and the rest of the Office 365 suite
  • Working with technology vendors to understand their technology capabilities, roadmaps, and integrations
  • Refining our technology vision, roadmap, and strategies with your colleagues
  • Learning about new applications, features, and APIs that can be used for new solutions
  • Utilizing technology to solve business problems
  • Communicating with leadership and key stakeholders on our projects and strategies


 

What You Will Need:


Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field OR equivalent IT work experience
  • Experience with application and/or integration development
  • Previous experience in modern, web-focused programming and scripting languages

What Will Put You Ahead?


Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Proficiency in implementing solutions built on SharePoint and Office 365, including web parts, forms, workflows, and security configuration
  • Development experience with REST APIs, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • A strong background in PowerShell, SPFx, Microsoft Graph, and APIs across Office 365
  • Expertise in PowerApps, Flow, Teams, Stream, Forms, OneDrive for Business, and other Office 365 features
  • Experience in designing and building integrations between enterprise application platforms
  • Experience refactoring solutions to Office 365-based solutions (like moving an InfoPath/SharePoint solution to PowerApps and Flow)
  • Background in supporting migrations from SharePoint Server to SharePoint Online
  • Ability to share your knowledge and effectively teaching others so they can build their own solutions
