Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Data Analyst in Louisville, KY. The Senior Data Analyst will:

  • Participates in Product Design meetings and assists with data requirements and business requirements
  • Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
  • Assist with the development of reports and projects, including documenting methodology, designing reporting, and making recommendations based upon data analysis
  • Identifies complex healthcare data problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements steps to achieve higher level of efficiency for client's analytics and product offerings
  • Provides analytical support to the Data Science, Clinical, Data Logistics, and Operational Teams
  • Conduct research and perform root cause analysis as part of responsibility for analytics projects
  • Extract data using SQL, modifying extracts and integrating data when necessary
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Health Care Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science or similar degreepreferred or equivalent work experience
  • 6 years-experience working as a Programmer/Data Analyst, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum of 3-yearexperience working with healthcare data is strongly preferred
  • Experience with building reports, analyzing results, and communicating findings
  • Experience with use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint is required
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, and working knowledge of data visualization software (Tableau, etc.) is required
  • Experience working with integration of multiple data sources from databases/data warehouses
  • Experience with healthcare data is a plus
  • Experience with statistical packages such as python, R, etc. a plus
  • Understanding of data structure/integration and relational database design
  • Understanding of key managed care concepts and terms including risk adjustment, pmpm, CPT, ICD9/10 coding, HCPCS, and DRG, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proven team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits creative thinking skills
  • Must be able to write complex SQL code and generate queries/reports without guidance, integrating data when necessary between disparate data sources
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and drive analytic projects end to end
  • Ability to work autonomously
