Kinnser Software is looking for an Account Executive to join our high growth sales team. This person will focus on selling our industry leading Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) solutions that improve the post-acute healthcare industry. They will be responsible for new business sales across their assigned territory as well maintaining and creating key client and partner relationships within their territory.  This person should be based in Kansas City.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Qualify leads to generate new opportunities with prospects and then convert those prospects into signed customer contracts
  • Follow-up on all sales leads within assigned territory to generate new prospects including marketing generated leads, web leads and Kinnser and industry sponsored events
  • Ability to prospect and execute upon a plan to target Home Healthcare and Hospice entities within assigned territory
  • Act as point person (under the supervision of the Director of Sales) for preparation of quotations, proposals, and subsequent contract negotiations with new clients
  • Demonstrate product and technical knowledge in providing detailed and effective online and in-person product demonstrations
  • Responsible for meeting assigned territory revenue goals
  • Ability to adapt and follow Kinnser Sales Process (MEDDICC)to maximize sales leads and sales opportunities through to closed won opportunities
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly forecasts on an ongoing basis using Kinnser’s forecast operating rhythm
  • Track sales activity in on a weekly basis and complete monthly salesreports for senior management
  • Maintain a current (daily/weekly) prospect database for all prospects
  • Successfully hand-off new clients to Client Services for training and implementation
  • Provide feedback to Marketing and Tech Support in developing effective and professional sales and training materials for company capabilities and services
  • Assist Marketing in identifying prospects for new products and services
  • Attend industry tradeevents and Kinnser-sponsored customer events
  • Monitor competitors and propose changes in strategies/tactics for senior management
  • Travel 50%


About Candidates:

  • 3-5+ years of successful SaaSsalesexperience and proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • Ability to travel regularly to support assigned territory
  • Self starter, driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a good sense of humor
  • Experience in effectively using a consultative, solution and value based selling style
  • Experience with MEDDICC sales methodology
  • Demonstrable proficiency with the Web, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations via web conferencing is preferred
  • Experience using CRM databases, preferably
  • Desire and ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • Is creative, innovative, inquisitive and resourceful; can take initiative and think ahead
  • Experience in healthcaretechnologysales is strongly desired
  • Ability to work remotely
