Job Description

Hilton is standing up a new Data and Analytics organization with the mission to drive Hilton's performance with actionable, integrated insights, through market-leading, differentiated expertise and continuous innovation. The Senior Director of Revenue and Sales Analytics will serve as a strategic business partner who will seek to understand business issues and consistently leverage data and analytics to develop insights to improve financial and operational performance.


What will I be doing?

The Senior Director of Revenue and Sales Analytics must be a trusted partner with the Revenue Management, Sales and HRCC teams as part of the Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE), working in tandem with the IT and Data teams to deliver on business needs. The Senior Director will be responsible for driving Hilton's revenue and salesdata strategy, providing insightful analysis and delivering on key projects as part of Hilton's data and analytics strategy.

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through:

  • Delivery of Hilton's revenue and salesdata strategy
  • Strong integration with the Revenue, Sales and HRCC teams and proactively driving performance as a strategic partner
  • Delivery of self-service reporting and dashboards, as well as advanced analytics insights integrated into business decision-making
  • Leadership of the Revenue and Sales Insights team, creating an environment of continuous learning and cross-functional engagement

Other key priorities are listed below:

  • Responsible for managing the Sales and Revenue Management customer relationship with the Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • Communicate functional insights and analysis results to leadership through reports and presentations
  • Lead the liquid workforce aligned to the revenue and sales customer group within the business on supporting advanced analysis requests; single point of accountability to the business
  • Serve as the final sign-off on prioritization of ad-hocreports to be automated and standardized
  • Support changes to specific reporting, metrics, data, and policies that impact business as usual for the customers
  • Contribute to the building of analytics capabilities across revenue management and sales
  • Support and monitor the workload of the revenue and sales analytics liquid workforce and ensure teams have necessary resources
  • Partner with revenue management and sales leadership to understand business problems and identify insights using advanced techniques such as scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Responsible for defining the vision for how analytics will impact revenue management and sales
  • Manage high-level strategic business requirements gathering and functional sub-areas of reporting insight
  • Partner withData and Reporting services on behalf of revenue management and sales
  • Co-develop action plans to maximize Hilton financial and operational performance
  • Oversee the value measurement process to ensure business results are achieved

Job Requirements

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience at the Director level
  • Experience leading reporting and/or analytics teams
  • Experience with advanced analytics, using analytics tools, or coaching business users through interpretation of data

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS Master's Degree
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Functional experience in Hospitality, Travel and/or Tourism
  • Demonstrated leadership navigating complex organizations
  • Strong negotiation skills in order to maximize value for internal and external stakeholders
