If you’re interested, here’s what year one is all about. You will work with a team of Air Force ISR subject matter experts to establish an “Innovation Lab.” This lab will be responsible for designing and developing reliable and scalable applications while adhering to architecture standards, risk management and security policies. You will also be responsible for creating web services and contributing to the technical code and design documentation. Your code will be reviewed by quality assurance personnel and end users, so attention to detail and ability to listen and respond to user needs is a must. Your applications will undergo acceptance testing and be put into production, and you will be responsible for resolving defects and assisting with presentations on architecture review, strategic technology directions, best practice development, and code reviews. This is a critical role and to excel you’ll need to meet these requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2-4 years of demonstrated programming experience and understanding of software engineering practices
- Experience working with Windows & Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Agile/SCRUM development
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-expert audiences
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
