Dignity Health Medical Group, a regional leader in integrated, academic medical care is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to practice in our Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded and collaborative physician with a strong passion for patient care and teaching.

 Located conveniently in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona,St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 450+ bed, not-for-profit hospital that provides a wide range of health, social and support services.  We are extremely proud to be a nationally recognized center for quality tertiary care, medical education and research. St. Joseph's includes the internationally renowned Barrow Neurological Institute, St. Joseph's Heart & Lung Institute, the University of Arizona Cancer Center at St. Joseph's, and The hospital is also a respected center for high-risk obstetrics, neuro rehabilitation, and other medical services. SJHMC is home to the satellite campus of Creighton University School of Medicine. Faculty Physicians within the department of Psychiatry are actively involved with the education and development of the 80+ 3rd and 4thyear Creighton Medical Students who complete their clinical requirements at SJHMC. Faculty appointments through Creighton are available for interested providers.

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is the employed physician group of Dignity Health in Arizona. DHMG employs over several hundred providers and offers more than 70 subspecialty services.

Under direction from the clinical chairman, provides patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.


Successful completion of residency program Successful completion of residency program Board qualified or certified. AZ licensed physician Credentialed SJHMC. Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies

Mnimum Requirement:

  • MD or DO Degree
  • Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABPN Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry
  • A passion for providing clinically excellent care
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
