The Neogen Corporation, a Lansing MI based leader in Food Safety products and solutions, is seeking a candidate for a Senior Director of Sales Process . The Senior Director is responsible for developing and implementing across all US Food Safety market segments standardized sales processes for sales action plans, prospecting, account relationship cultivation, closing process and post-closing customer relationship maintenance. This role will help in developing sales corporate capability presentations, specific scripting messages, standardized proposals and email correspondence to improve quality and efficiency of the process. This position will also measure the timing of sales process development for all US Food Safety sales cycles as a part of monitoring the budget effectiveness across the entire US Food Safety Sales team. This role will also work to implement training and post training assessment programs to implement these standardized sales skill processes. CRM metrics and analytics will be utilized to measure the effect of these training and process standardization efforts.
Education and/or Experience:
College degree in food science, animal science, agricultural business or other related field. Salesexperience (5 or more years, preferred) and sales management experience (2 or more years preferred). Previous sales management experience with greater than 50 people.
