Leading Engineering services provider seeks an experienced rotating equipment and pump compression Engineer to support base of electric driven compression, pump systems, and hydrocarbon gas compressors. 

  

Candidate will provide supportengineering services to both pipeline and upstream operations to ensure continuity of service, vibration and mechanical integrity, throughput optimization, uptime reliability, and operational expense reduction. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  

*** Direct selection of optimum driver or compressor equipment and layouts for capital expansion projects. 

  

*** Assist with design, engineering, and operation of large compression and electric drive compressor or pump implementations, and reciprocating compression facilities. 

  

*** Serve as subject matter expert on rotating equipment for assets. Provide expertise for capacity optimization and expansion on large compression systems. 

  

*** Assess procedural and mechanical regimes and recommend optimization strategies for improved compression installations, reliability, availability, and reduce unexpected maintenance issues. 

  

*** Carry out failure analysis studies and initiate remedial steps for foundations, equipment, and piping. 

  

*** Lead inspections of acquired equipment at the factory. Execute vibration and pulsation studies. 

  

*** Function as Customer Service lead. Build and maintain relationships with key service vendors, manufacturers, and consultants. 

  

DesiredExperience: 

  

***Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field. 

  

***8+ years of experience designing, engineering, and operating compressor or pump implementations, compression facilities, or similar. 

  

*** Hands on knowledge of system design, hydraulics, pulsation, and vibration mechanisms in compression systems.
