  • End to End Product Management, New product categories
  • Work closely with Merchandising on identifying Sourcing base for Lifestyle items (ex: accessories, personal care, coffee mugs, hats, etc.)
    • Manage daily individual supplier relationships as it relates to:
    • Onboarding new vendors to Spanx requirements at each stage of development, sampling, production, packing and shipping; Facilitating Vendor Set Up information: NDA, Manufacturing Agreement and Shipping & Logistics Guide
    • Executing and delivering on all key TNA dates and development deadlines (commit dates, production start dates, delivery dates, photo shoot dates, etc.)
    • Writing and updating purchase orders
    • Sampling, costing and price negotiations
    • Communication and management of factory capacity planning / forecasting / seasonal projections
    • Reviewing and challenging WIP reports
    • Managing product testing and product compliance
    • Managing factory compliance audits through Third Party Provider; Address CAP where needed
    • Requesting QA inspections and review product QA inspectionreports; Review/resolve issues
    • Resolving vendor disputes – claims, RTV, raw materials liabilities
  • Partner with Merchandising to achieve margin goals and to resolve issues as they arise


The successful candidate should be adaptable in using their organizational skills to prioritize tasks and should be proactive in taking ownership of various projects, various product categories. Candidate should have a sense of urgency in communicating internally and externally to complete assignments on time and with accuracy. Candidate should demonstrate an ability to anticipate busy schedules and head off potential issues for the greater team. Must possess openness while problem-solving and demonstrate integrity while dealing with vendors and internal team members.

Must be willing to travel to domestic and international manufacturers.


Reports to: Senior Director, Production




  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in production/sourcing role
  • Understanding of product development and production
  • Understanding of garment costing/elements of costing
  • Production experience in Intimate Apparel, Accessories, or Personal Care preferred
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with international travel to garment factories and fabric mills
