  • Able to configure and troubleshoot network devices
  • Able to deploy and troubleshoot various Microsoft Windows based enterprise applications and platforms
  • Able to build and configure virtualized servers and migrate or upgrade systems as necessary

  • Effectively and concisely communicate important details over email and in person to management, project managers, and team members both in IT and within the customer user base.

  • 5+ Years work experience supporting Networks spanning multiple sites in a lead position
  • 5+ Years work experience supporting an Enterprise Microsoft Windows Server environment and enterprise applications in a lead position
  • 2+ Years work experience supporting a VMware/hypervisor in a senior or lead position
  • 2+ Years work as a team lead overseeing other team members and leading requirements gathering, solution research, vendor evaluations and the deployment of new solutions.
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or other related field strongly desired

What your day will look like:

  • Monitor, respond to, and resolve ticket requests as received
  • Perform daily detailed updates of assigned tickets within the ticket system
  • Identify incident trends and track known problems through to resolution
  • Refine and update the team's procedures, diagrams, and other system configuration documentation
  • Maintain and Ensure team adherence to customer and MetroStar compliance requirements
  • Work with vendors to
  • (a) Research solutions, coordinate calls and meetings with stakeholders, schedule demonstrations, and gather pricing
  • (b) Perform break-fix repair of systems and ensure rapid recovery of systems per established plans
  • Review vulnerability scan reports and establish plans for testing and deploying patches and corrective actions
