Overview

The Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Risk Management Department in the procurement and administration of the Company's insurance programs, the execution of the company's Regulatory Exam Management Program, and Enterprise Risk Reporting.


Responsibilities

Corporate Insurance Program:

Compiles exposure information and prepares underwriter submissions in support of the policy renewal process. Tracks and reports on costs associated with each of the company's insurance programs. Manages the claim tracking process and works with insurance brokers and the Legal Department on management of claims.

Manages database of all insurance contracts, certificates and policies assuring compliance with legal and company requirements. Administers certificate of insurance requests by third parties. Handles third party insurance variance requests, and provides technical guidance with respect to required contract provisions related to insurance. Ensures payments to insurers are made timely to avoid a lapse in coverage.

Provides guidance and support to other departments with respect to the Company's insurance programs. Assists in the management of captive insurance company and administration of insurance policies issued by the captive.

Regulatory Affairs:

Provides support to ensure successful management of regulatory exams, including action plans, handle logistics, prepare debriefs/track action items from meetings, tracks deliverables and ensures timely and complete submissions. Coordinates responses to regulatory inquiries.

Organizes regulatory meetings and produces various content, including leading the design and creation of presentations for the Enterprise Risk Management Department.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years experience in the banking, insurance, legal or other directly related field with increasing levels of responsibility.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

Coursework in Insurance and Risk Management a plus.

Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to self-start and self-direct in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Excellent communications skills required.

Ability to maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate.

Organized with the ability to innovate, automate and drive continuous improvement.

Aptitude to form strong working relationships across all levels of organization.
