What Global Sourcing Program Management contributes to Cardinal Health:

Global Sourcing Program Management Organization (PMO) drives timely and cost-effective execution on projects and strategic initiatives for the Medical Segment. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Accountabilities

  • Manages the Global Sourcing organization's Project Management tool(s) and projects' pipeline
  • Analyzes monthly financial and non-financial projects data, create dashboards and presents them to the leadership team effectively and concisely
  • Provides month-over-month pipeline analysis to highlight/track changes, risks and opportunities
  • Assesses, with project owners, projects' health status and highlights variances to savings goals
  • Leads the monthly Global Sourcing PMO meetings with key stakeholders
  • Highlights areas of resource concerns and provides recommended solutions
  • Communicates effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise
  • Supports the establishment of PM tools in collaboration with Global Sourcing, Finance, Manufacturing and Technical Services
  • Identifies and solicits feedback from internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvements to the project tracker and dashboard
  • Applies critical thinking skills to identify risks to other areas of the business
  • May work on projects of medium to large scope
  • Will be asked to lead 1-3 Global Sourcing projects at any time

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • PMP certification preferred; or 5+ years in Project Management
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency including excel analytics tools and timeline development
  • Sourcing/Procurement or Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Medical Device Experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative
  • Solution oriented with ability to facilitate timely resolution of issues
  • MS Project or equivalent software knowledge preferred
  • Ability to travel 10-20% travel
