This position will oversee the management of new leading-edge Web/mobile/e-commerce applications and services as they move from client concept to launch. We are a leading Web Services and eGovernment Company seeking a full-time Project Manager at our Jackson, MSsubsidiary of eGovernment firm NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV). Some duties of the .NET Developer include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, review and perform analysis, design, coding and implementation of simple to more complex internet and e-commerce applications using Microsoft development products (Asp.net, C#, Visual Studio, Windows Communication Foundation, MVC 4/5, web services, etc.) and open standards products (Javascript, AJAX, CSS, etc.) for both traditional browsers and mobile devices
  • Setup and maintain data structures and database environment
  • Maintain existing applications

Additional Preferred Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of professional experience in developing web applications with a strong knowledge of C# and ASP.NET, Application Security (OWASP best practices), and MVC framework
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for implementing database driven, web-based applications Good understanding of SOAP and REST web services
  • Following knowledge is encouraged: LINQ / Entity Framework, Active Directory
  • Good communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies Self-motivated and creative
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
