We expect the Learning & Development Specialist to organize holistic people development initiatives, elevating both technical and essential skills for our employees. You should consider yourself a talent incubator and accelerator for Corgan. We are looking for a modern L&D professional who has a deep understanding of organizational development and learning initiatives, and a track record of successful program implementation, execution and management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the trajectories of our employees' careers and help shape the voice and employee experience of Corgan's culture.
To succeed, you must have exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, be well-versed in organizational development and learning methodologies, and be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.
Program Management: Coordinate the execution of the firm's learning & development center, including strategy implementation, process and tool design, and change management communication
Learning and Training: Support and administer Corgan-custom training content, including new employee onboarding, a high-potential development program, team training, and compliance training. Design and manage employee learning paths and recommended training through our learning current and future learning platforms
Career Development: Administer tools and processes to support Corgan's employee-directed approach to career development and growth
Employee Experience: Support employee initiatives including engagement, corporate communications, diversity and inclusion, and workplace experience
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Organizational Development/Behavior, or related field
5+ years' experience designing and implementing effective organizational development and learning initiatives for a corporate environment staffed with highly intellectual knowledge-workers. It is imperative that you can turn strategic people development opportunities into actionable programs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills complemented by a coaching and growth mindset.
Demonstrated aptitude for technology with expert level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient familiarity with highly-regarded learning management systems. Experience with LinkedIn Learning is a plus as well.
Experience with talent management systems is preferred.
Experience with personality assessment tools, particularly StrengthFinders is preferred.
Extremely organized with strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines.
Willingness to work on a variety of tasks and tackle assignments with enthusiasm.
Maturity to be trusted with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work well in an open floor concept, both collaboratively as well as independently.
Ability to handle a heavy workload and manage multiple projects.
