Under general direction, the Enterprise Systems Data Analyst coordinates, manages and/or participates in activities related to the design, configuration and implementation of ACADIA's information systems, related integrations, and Data Warehouse initiatives. Will participate and at times lead in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with our Business Customers, IT management and staff. You will develop expertise with ACADIA's integration tools and reporting environments. In addition, will support day to day operational activities and at times participate in project related work, when applicable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document business requirements and processes
  • Conduct source system and data quality analysis
  • Extract, transform, and load data into Enterprise Systems and Reporting tools
  • Change management and creation of other supporting documentation for applications
  • Qualify vendors and aid in selecting systems
  • Facilitate end-user procedures development related to systems' usage
  • Ad Hoc Report creation
  • Conduct data investigations across multiple integrated systems
  • Participate in business process re-engineering activities
  • Participate in system integration testing and data verification
  • Document all procedures related to position
  • Develop in and maintain Production/Test environments

Education/Experience/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ideally, supporting data services/integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence.

Must possess:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a programmer/analyst
  • Experience utilizing an SDLC approach
  • Knowledge of typical text-based file formats and tools to manipulate these ad-hoc data files
  • Proficiency using SQL to query data residing in databases
  • Ability to act as "technical translator" between IT and business groups
  • Ability to explain complex data to all levels of data consumers
  • Ability to handle a variety of task at one time
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment and have good communication, organization and documentation skills
  • Enjoy working with end users

The following requirements are preferred:

  • Experience working in a FDA regulated environment
  • Data warehousing experience
  • Pharmaceutical experience
  • ETL software experience
  • Knowledge of dimensional database modeling
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Sisense, Qlik, Tableau, Domo, etc.

Desired skills:

  • Experience with launch of a new pharmaceutical product.
  • Experience with Master Data Management tools
  • Experience with cloud-based databases and applications
