Role Summary:

Marketing-Innovation lead for Cox new online gaming business, (additional innovation initiatives to follow). The role will focus on the launch and continued growth of Cox new online gaming business, through continuous evolution of the consumer value proposition, development of compelling best in class advertising and identification and design of digitally savvy customer experiences that meet or exceed customer expectations, making this an icon in the gaming community. The role will be responsible for meeting volume and revenue forecasts and achieving overall P&L results. Primary responsibilities:

  • Identify and validate a consumer-centric product concept roadmap
  • Design a superior customer experience (digital focus)
  • Lead positioning, targeting and branding to ensure optimal focus, efficiency and effectiveness with marketing, advertising and media targeting
  • Plans, develops and executes integrate, multi-tactical marketing programs to drive customer and revenue growth
  • Work with acquisition and retention boundary partners to ensure revenue is optimized
  • Work with agency and media partners to build an effective communications strategy
  • Deliver insightful compelling advertising briefs to drive best in class creative
  • Work closely with sales strategy to design revenue and experience maximizing customer experiences
  • Work with CARE to design the customer experience and develop training materials
  • Manage and develop direct reports
  • Meet or beat plan


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of experience required in related field i.e. Digital, Marketing, Product, Sales, Advertising
  • Experience designing, developing and launching new customer value propositions i.e. products, experiences
  • Requires strong knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization i.e. a demonstrated ability to persuade peers and leadership to see the opportunity and provide them a path to balance risk, gaining their endorsement and support
  • Must have owned P&L or had extensive experience driving business cases i.e. must be able to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and be financially savvy enough to not over commit or push to an unrealistic forecast/model

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience launching new products, brands, businesses
  • Gaming experience is strongly preferred
  • Digital experience is strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience working with market research – qualitative, conjoint, concept testing, journey mapping
  • Digital advertising experience – communications strategy, creative briefing, creative evaluation / agency feedback
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.)
  • MBA preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience in a management role preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience leading cross functional projects preferred
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
