Groupon Coupons is Groupon's digital marketing affiliate business. We work directly with the world's biggest brands to bring exceptional discounts to our customers every day. You know when you search the internet for promo codes and they seem to magically appear? Well, that's us! We are seeking an exceptional leader to join Groupon Coupons to manage the one of our Content Teams. This team is responsible for optimizing performance of merchant pages, curating the customer experience, and increasing the quality of the content we show consumers. A keen intelligence, unparalleled writing skills, and the ability to self-start are necessities for this role. This is a chance to lead a high-performance team that is leading Groupon's solutions for national retailers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team responsible for shaping and executing content strategy for our Growth tier merchants
  • Lead, mentor and coach 8-10 Content Staff
  • Optimize content of offers for customer experience, ensure all offers are high quality and ordered properly, perform competitive analysis and brand research, liaise with Sales to obtain exclusive or market-leading offers
  • Shape and implement best practices and operational standards
  • Responsible for content KPIs (Conversion & Revenue Goals)
  • Analyze data and provide weekly updates on business trends, leverage analytics to inform business decisions
  • Work with Product to identify key content management system user needs and improve internal tools
  • Analyze how past and current campaign performance impacts consumer behavior, recommending strategies and offers that will increase consumer loyalty and engagement

We're excited about you if you have:

  • 4+ years of content or editorial experience in ecommerce/online retail
  • Motivated self-starter with acute attention to detail
  • Capacity for creative problem solving and strategic thinking
  • Ability to positively respond and adapt to quick-paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Strong writing skills to clearly communicate
  • Ability to decipher spreadsheet and other analytical data
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Understanding of Teradata, Tableau, Google AdWords, and Excel a plus
  • Management, team lead, or training experience a plus
