Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

Job Description:

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Manage daily treasury functions
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Perform payroll processing function
  • Perform daily AR reconciliations for e-commerce sales
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports for bank compliance
  • Oversee the cost accounting function
  • Oversee 1099 processes and filings
  • Manage, train and mentor the staff and senior accountant
  • Perform day-to-day accounting functions
  • Assist in development, process improvements, and implementation of new procedures

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
