Job Details
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Job Requirements
Current RN license in the state of Kansas.
BLS certification required prior to start.
PALS certification required prior to start.
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment.
Additional Details
Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer. No declinations accepted.
Required for all travelers. Preferred to be completed prior to start, can be completed onsite.
Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025. Exemptions/Declinations are accepted, but candidate will be required to wear a mask at all times.
