QUALIFICATIONS:1+ years of experience in a jewelry production environment or certificate of jewelry making training school or equivalentProficient in Google Suite (especially Sheets), advanced computer skillsAdept at wearing a number of hats and adapting to the fast-paced and changing needs of the studio Understanding of SKJ brand and productsGood eyesight, good memory, and the ability to use hands in agile fashionA propensity for organization, strong time management and communication skillsStrong problem solving skillsStrong attention to detail essentialReliable at meeting deadlinesExemplary self-management skillsPunctuality Professional attitude and demeanorGIA certification is a BIG plus!Must be authorized to work in the US PRIMARY JOB RELATED DUTIES:Raw materials inventory managementJewelry district runs and vendor liaisingRaw material processingFacilitating ordering, receiving and returningPrepare manufacturing orders by pulling and organizing all necessary components for productionInspecting diamonds and gemstonesProduction data entryLarger production support projectsSECONDARY JOB RELATED DUTIES:Presents a professional and positive image on behalf of the Company.Reports any safety or security concerns immediately to the Operations Manager.Keeps studio area tidy and clean and ready for customer visitors at any time. Supports with any additional tasks related to primary job responsibilities as requested by Management.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The Staff Member is regularly required to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, grab things with his/her hands, and use tools and machines requiring fine motor skills.This job requires the ability to move around the studio and run errands outside the Company.The Staff Member must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.The noise level in the work environment is moderate.The Staff Member must be able to tolerate airborne dust particles from equipment.
