Job Summary:The Quality Manager will oversee the activity of the quality department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and oversee quality management processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, functionality, compliance, regulatory standards, and reliability prior to delivery.Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.Define and communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team, product development team, and relevant stakeholders.Coordinate and participate in product testing processes, ensuring thorough evaluation of all product aspects.Conduct root cause and corrective action (RCCA) analyses for recurring issues across multiple products, implementing sustainable solutions.Analyze client, customer, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement in product quality.Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.Work closely with and influence cross-functional teams to optimize processes and resolve quality issuesRequired Qualifications:Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service abilitiesMeticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skillsDemonstrated time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlinesAdvanced analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProven leadership and supervisory experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent softwarePreferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of PPE industry products and standardsRelevant certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM)Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required.Five to seven years of industrial quality experiencePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting or standingAbility to lift 25 pounds.Location:This position will be based in the Cynthiana, KY location with routine and frequent travel as needed.Safety Adherence StatementDemonstrates the ability to understand and adhere to all company safety practices, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.Disclaimer:This job description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills efforts or working conditions associated with the job; it is intended to be an accurate reflection of those principal job elements essential to the job.
