Job Description


Quality Control (QC) Technician Duties and Responsibilities: Perform dimensional checks on products according to QC procedures. Collaborate with production teams to correct deficiencies. Conduct concrete tests, generate reports, and maintain accurate and legible records. Inspect raw material components and their placement within the product. Assist production employees in resolving issues before casting. Perform post-production checks to ensure products meet specifications and are labeled correctly before shipment. Examine finished products for compliance with surface treatment specifications such as sandblasting and water washing. Prepare and distribute deficiency or rejection reports when necessary. Conduct additional quality and material tests as required, including rock and sand analysis. Perform concrete cylinder compression tests. Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Windows-based software (Word and Excel). Ability to maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced and changing environments. Capability to read and interpret blueprints and piece tickets. Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma required; technical coursework is a plus. Understanding of manufacturing processes. ACI and/or PCI certification or the ability to obtain certification. Basic knowledge of print reading and comprehension. Physical Requirements: Ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work extended hours when necessary. Ability to climb ladders, forms, and trailers to inspect products and setups. Work Environment: Combination of office and outdoor production areas. Exposure to varying weather conditions, including hot and cold climates. Requires physical activity, including climbing ladders and inspecting production setups.
