Public/Community Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is interested in a permanent position in Brooklyn, NY. The NP will provide high quality medical care to adult & pediatric patients on a scheduled and unscheduled basis. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits, including NHSC student loan repayment. All benefits covered by 1199 SEIU Continuing Education (CMEs) - $1,500 reimbursable towards expense, 5 days paid CME days. Responsibilities: Provides high quality health care screening through interview and examination of adult & pediatric patients Chart review Works with the other members of the medical team to promote and maintain high quality medical care for the patients. Participates in telephone on-call schedule as needed. Other duties as assigned Requirements: Certified Family Nurse Practitioner BC/BE preferred 8:30a-430p 4 days per week; 12p-8p 1 day per week; 1 Saturday per month FQHC experience is a plus Experience and/or training in a community health center setting
