Chemical Batchmaker

Arrochem, a chemical blending operation, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that batches of products are prepared accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of materials handling, and the ability to operate various machinery and equipment.DutiesResponsible for locating, weighing, and blending chemical components.Reports on Batch Tickets the amount of chemicals blended as per the specifications in the formula.Records the balance of chemicals remaining on the drum / package for proper Inventory Management.Understands all hazards associated with chemical raw materials and finished product.Responsible for obtaining a sample of finished product and submitting it to QC for final approval.Properly cleans tanks, drums, pumps, and hoses after use.Understand valve configurations on pumps and tanks.Works directly with QC Chemist to makes corrections to product as needed for proper product specifics.Notifies supervisor if error is made. Corrections are made accordingly and noted.Inspect each drum or tote before use for rust, dirt, etc.On the job training provided. 40 hour work week, 1st shift.
