OverviewCharge Registered Nurse RN, Rehabilitation Unit A, Full Time, Days Location: University Kansas Health System – St. Francis (Main Campus) The Charge Nurse manages the shift operations of a specified clinical area, including coordination of patient care, supervision of a professional team which includes nursing staff and other staff as appropriate, and troubleshooting of problem areas. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies and procedures. Reports to the Director or designee. Motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance. QualificationsRequirements: Associates/Bachelor degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.Current Kansas RN licensureBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAt least one year recent experience in a similar healthcare setting, preferred.Basic computer skills.Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and EPIC software; preferred. Preferred: Certification of specialty preferred, ACLS (Unit Specific), PALS/NRP for Peds/NLC.
