Key Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to enhance patient care and outcomes. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies. Delegate tasks effectively to team members within their scope of practice. Provide pre- and post-operative care to ensure patient safety and comfort. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management. Assist in creating discharge plans in conjunction with the care team. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required. Experience in an acute care setting preferred. Education Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Licenses and Certifications Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
