Work model: On-Site What you will do:Oversee live production operations, including animal health, feeding, and environmental programs Provide leadership and training to Operations Teams to meet corporate and site goals Optimize production, throughput, and yield Lead with a strategic business mindset Drive performance through key indicators Engage a diverse workforce in growth and performance Train, document, coach, and counsel employees Promote a culture of safety Ensure ethical treatment of birds and compliance with regulations Develop and manage the yearly budget and control operating expenditures Implement Preventative Maintenance Programs Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Manage parts inventory and ensure equipment safety What you will need to be successful:Bachelor's degree in operations management, finance, agriculture, or related field preferred but not necessary 5+ years of relevant experience in operations management in the food or agriculture industries Ability to establish a performance-based culture Proven leadership and problem-solving skills Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment Effective communication with all constituencies Ability to interpret and act on financial and operating data Ability to work in various climate conditions Benefits overview: Dental, health, and vision insurance PTO 401k Interested and qualified candidates can contact Jordan Dougherty at (515) 225-7000 or email Jordan at [email protected].
