We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where our team of dedicated professionals can make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. ***Position Overview*** Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Medicine Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. Our program offers comprehensive residential and outpatient substance use treatment, emphasizing patient-centered care and recovery. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals battling substance use disorders. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of substance use disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based approaches to addiction medicine. Prescribe and monitor medications, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment), as appropriate. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to support patients' recovery. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans. Educate patients and families on addiction, treatment options, and long-term recovery strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications**Qualifications:** Licensed Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in Indiana. Board certification or eligibility in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine preferred. Experience in addiction medicine or substance use treatment is required.
