Responsibilities The Activity Therapist is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group and individual therapy treatments. The Activity Therapist is responsible to function well as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and participate in the community relations program. Master's in art therapy, dance therapy, or music therapy preferred.- Certification through National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred. - Minimum one year experience working in a psychiatric setting. - Good overall interpersonal skills. Ability to function well as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to represent the program well in internactions both inside and outside of the hospital. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
