Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Corporate Finance and Accounting Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role will be integral in handling a wide range of responsibilities including monthly close processes, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor and customer relations, and expense reports reconciliation. Responsibilities Financial Analysis and Reporting Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes Prepare various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Analyze financial data and create forecasting models Bookkeeping Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and financial reports Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Generate and send invoices to clients Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments Post payments to customer accounts and reconcile AR ledgers Accounts Payable (AP) Process and verify vendor invoices Prepare and perform payment runs Reconcile AP ledgers and resolve discrepancies Vendor Relations Negotiate contracts and payment terms with vendors Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files Coordinate with the Procurement team to streamline vendor management processes Customer Relations Serve as the point of contact for customer finance-related inquiries Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication Resolve billing and invoicing issues in a timely manner Expense Reports Reconciliation Review and validate employee expense reports for compliance with company policies Reconcile expense reports with accounting records Assist in periodic audits of expense reports Salary$75000 USD per yearRequired Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting roles Strong analytical and data management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Sage Intacct Desired Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently About Terpene BeltTerpene Belt™ Farms is the leading manufacturer of complete cannabis essential oils (complex terpenes).
