Accounts Payable Specialist

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced AP Specialist for our Scottsdale, AZ office.Process invoices, work orders and POs for paymentsVerify approvals on request with the matrix; follow authorization limits per policyRun check reports and review prior to generating checksGenerate weekly checks following the company's payment cycleProcess lien waivers; maintain waivers as they are returnedScan utilities and invoices into the scanning system for approvals and codingTrack closed lots and disconnect services for utilitiesProcess wire transfer requestsGenerate reports from EBIX and review for complianceGenerate/Review Auto Voucher Report DailyCorrespondence with trades and your divisional teamAssist with research for past due invoicesOrganize check copies and corresponding reports for yearly auditFilingAssist with special projects when neededApprove expense reports in ConcurFrequent interactions with vendors, multiple departments, and employees at all levels within the organizationSee what our CFO has to say about Meritage Homes!QualificationsHigh School Diploma is required, 2 or more years of college, is preferredAt least three years of Accounts Payable experience is requiredAP experience in the homebuilding or general construction industry is preferredStrong Computer skills, Excel experience required; proficient in Word and Outlook10 key by touch#earlycareer#LI-AJ2OverviewAre you looking for an incredible career opportunity?
